MONITOR MODE
In the MONITOR MODE the FX-40DU-E can monitor the ONIOFF status of the bit devices in the
programmable controller, the settings and current values of timers and counters, and the contents of
data registers.
In addition, the operator can change the settings and current values of timers and counters and the
contents of data registers in this mode.
The FX-40DU-E also features a dynamic monitor mode in which active states can be monitored
automatically if step ladder instructions are used.

The functions displayed on the MONITOR MODE screen correspond to the operation keys of the
FX-40DU-E.
[DEV] corresponds to key [ 0 ]
When the [ 0 ] key is pressed the device specification
is displayed.
[DEV] is used to specify device numbers of devices use
current values, and forced ONIOFF.

[CMNT] and [NAME] select whether displayed devices are displayed using their device codes (X,
Y, M, S, T, C, D, 2, V), or the comments ascribed to them using the screen creation software.
