The abbreviations "programmable controller" and "PC" are used to mean a MELSEC FX series
programmable controller.
(2)
General purpose personal computers are referred to as "personal computers" and the software
kit that runs on a personal computer to create user screens (FX-PCS-DUIAT) and is referred to
as "screen creation software".
(3) The term "floppy disk" is abbreviated to FD and "floppy disk drive" is abbreviated to FDD.

The devices in the programmable controller have been assigned the following abbreviations:
inputs; "Xu, outputs; " Y " , auxiliary relays; "Mu, states; "S", timers; "7, counters;
