Circuit insulation
Insulation between the FX-4ODU-E internal circuitry and output transistors is by photo-coupler.
Response time
The time that elapses between driving (or switching off) of the photo-coupler by the FX-40DU-E and
the transistor coming ON (or going OFF) is 1 ms max.
Output current
Each output point can accommodate a current of
20
mA. If a large current load is connected externally,
an element such as a relay must also be connected externally.
The transistor ON voltage is approximately 1.5 V; when the output is used to drive devices such as
semiconductor devices, due consideration must be given to the input voltage characteristics of these
devices.
