Assembling the Power Terminal Blocks
Note
Torque all terminal connections to 0.6 N·m (5 lbf-in).
Note
Each positive (+) terminal is identical, as are the negative (-) terminals. Cables
from an external power supply can be connected to any of the corresponding
terminals on the same terminal block.
Connect the Positive wire from the power supply to either of the positive (+)
terminals on the terminal block.
Connect the Negative wire from the power supply to either of the negative (-)
terminals on the terminal block.
Connect the ground wire from the power supply to the chassis/ground terminal
on the terminal block.
If the external power supply accepts dual positive and negative inputs, connect
additional Positive and Negative cables to the remaining positive (+) and
negative (-) terminals on ther terminal block.
Connect the chassis ground screw to ground (Potential Earth). It is
recommended to terminate the ground connection with an M4 ring tongue, and
then torque to 1.7 N·m (15 lbf-in).
