    Device Management This section describes how to connect to and manage the device. Connecting to the Device The following describes the various methods for accessing the RUGGEDCOM RSG2488F console and Web interfaces on the device. For more detailed instructions, refer to the RUGGEDCOM RSG2488F User Guide for the RUGGEDCOM RSG2488F. Serial Console and Management Ports Connect a workstation directly to the serial console or management ports to access the boot-time control and RUGGEDCOM RSG2488F interfaces.

Installing a Module To install a line module, do the following: Make sure power to the device has been disconnected and wait approximately two minutes for any remaining energy to dissipate. [Optional] If the device is installed in a rack, remove it from the rack.
