RIDING THE VEHICLE
Keep your body weight rearwards. Stay seated. Apply the brake grad-
ually to prevent skidding. Do not "coast" down the slope using solely
engine compression or in neutral gear.
Decelerating while negotiating a slippery downhill slope could "tobog-
gan" the vehicle. Maintain steady speed and/or accelerate slightly to
regain control. Try to avoid steep inclines. If you're not careful, you
could tip over when going down hills.
2 2 – – U U P P M M o o d d e e l l s s
The operator is responsible for the safety of the passenger; in doubt,
disembark the passenger before proceeding.
Always remember that the vehicle handling, stability and braking dis-
tance may be affected when riding with a passenger.
The passenger must synchronize his movements with the operator.
The passenger must remain seated at all times.
