When a vehicle is not in use for more than 4 months, proper storage is
a necessity.
If the vehicle is to be remain inactive for more than 21 days, discon-
nect the BLACK (-) cable of the battery.
The use of a low amperage trickle charger is recommended to keep
battery fully charged.
Before using your vehicle after storage, a preparation is required.
BRP recommends you have your authorized Can-Am Off-road dealer,
repair shop, or person of your own choosing fully prepare your vehicle
for storage. Or, at your convenience, you can follow the basic proce-
dures below.
While reading this Operator's Guide, remember that:

1. Inspect vehicle and have your authorized Can-Am Off-Road deal-
er, repair shop, or person of you own choosing for maintenance,
repair, or replacement if necessary.

Performance Warranty contained in the Warranty section for informa-
tion about warranty claims.
2. Change the engine oil and filter.
3. Check engine coolant, differentials, gearbox and and brake fluid
levels.
4. Fill the fuel tank, add the fuel stabilizer and run the engine. Strictly
follow instructions on fuel stabilizer container.
5. Inflate all tires to their recommended pressure.
6. Clean the vehicle.
7. Lubricate the throttle cable (MTC models).
8. Close and latch all storage compartments.
9. Store the vehicle in a dry area, away from sunlight, with a small
amount of daily temperature variation.
