– Check hitch and trailer ball condition
– Respect the tongue capacity and towing
capacity as indicated on the label affixed
to the hitch or refer to Technical
Specifications .
– Ensure trailer is properly secured to
hitch.
Check tire pressure and condition. Refer to
the Tire Pressure and Maximum Load label
and adjust according to load.
Check wheels for damage and for abnormal
play, and check lug nuts are tightened.
Refer to Wheels and Tires in Maintenance
Procedures for torque specification.
Check drive shaft bellows and protectors
condition
Check underneath vehicle for any debris on
chassis or suspension components and
clean them properly

Check operation of indicator lamps in digital
display(during first few seconds of key ON).
Check for messages on digital display.
Check operation and cleanliness of:
– Headlights (High and Low)
– Taillights
– Brake lights.
