Meter Voltage Taps
The meter in the Backup Gateway is pre-wired for operation inside the Backup Gateway
enclosure. If you need to remove the meter from the Backup Gateway in order to move it
closer to a metering point, use the voltage line harness provided in the meter kit to install the
corresponding voltage taps in the electrical panel.
Before installing the meter, modify the provided voltage line harness by capping the black and
grey leads. (Single-phase systems only require the brown and blue leads.)

Voltage tap location and current transformer connections to the meter unit must be paired so
that they correspond according to the following table and diagram (Fig 40).
