Step 10: Make AC Power Connections

1. Connect the electrical service from the service inlet or from the main switchboard
(depending on the backup configuration) to the Backup Gateway terminals according to the
following table and diagram (Fig 37). Strip the ends of the wires and insert them in the
corresponding Backup Gateway terminal lugs. Tighten the lugs to the values shown in the
table below.
NOTE: For electrical service connections to the Backup Gateway, use 2.5–50 mm
minimum copper (Cu) wire.
