Wood Studs (spaced from 300 mm to 600 mm)
• If anchoring directly into wood studs, use at least four (one in each corner) 10 mm
wood screws with washers, of sufficient length for at least 64 mm embedment into the
studs.
• If anchoring to blocking between wood studs, use minimum 50 mm x 100 mm blocks,
end-nailed into studs with two 16d (100 mm) nails or toe-nailed into studs with four 8d
(75 mm) nails. Use at least four (one in each corner) 10 mm wood screws with
washers, of sufficient length for at least 64 mm embedment into the blocking.
