1.1 About equipment

ArcValidator RC (Remote Control) device
ArcValidator RC is a hand-held device used for operating ArcValidator L 650 load bank, saving and transferring data to
and from a computer and for controlling the verification event.
You plug it to the load bank and follow the instructions which tell you what to do, step by step, if you use the guided
manual verification. When automatic verification is used, ArcValidator RC takes care of the process without requiring
manual setting of the values.

>> For setting up the verification events, editing the equipment details and for showing the verification inform-
ation and a preliminary report during and after the verification process.

Navigation buttons
>> For navigating in the RC menus.
3.
Selection button
>> For making the required selections.
4.
Barcode and QR code reader
>> For faster equipment ID setup where applicable.
ArcValidator DataStick
ArcValidator DataStick is a dedicated USB memory stick. Its main purposes are:
Storing all the verification data on the RC.
Transferring data from ArcValidator RC to a computer for creating reports and certificates.
Transferring equipment profiles done on the computer to the RC.
Transferring RC software updates from the computer to the RC.
The genuine DataStick must be installed in the ArcValidator RC device throughout the verification process. During
the verification data and report modification and equipment profile modification, the DataStick must be connected
to the computer.
