ATTENTION
IVR EC – Jet Fans
− Damaged surface protection must be renewed.
− All elastic elements must be freely moveable.
− If monitoring devices are fitted, a functional test should be carried out.
Once everything is in orderly condition, reconnect the fan to the power supply and commission the fan. If necessary,
in-situ balancing is recommended.

43 Repairs

A motor or impeller replacement may only be carried out by specialist personnel authorised by the manufacture. Please
contact the manufacturer for this purpose.
Spare parts can be ordered from the manufacturer using the order number or type plate data. Please contact the
manufacturer for this purpose.
m Risk of injury/damage due to the use of unsuitable spare parts
Dangers can arise for personnel and damage, malfunctions or total failures of the fan can be caused by the use of
unsuitable or defective spare parts. Only use original spare parts from the manufacturer or spare parts approved by
the manufacturer. Please contact the manufacturer in case of uncertainty.

• Check power supply
• Restore power supply
• Check connection
• Let motor run from warm ope-
rating condition
• Cable cross-section and pro-
tection device must protect the
start-up current during start-up
• Check tightening torque for
motor MA/MN
• Check motor and replace if
necessary
• Incorrect voltage. Local net-
work too weak
• Check motor and replace if
necessary
• Check fuse and replace if
necessary
