Advanced LAN Configuration

This section describes how to change NIC Partitioning (NPAR) configuration, and precautions on using iSCSI
Offload and vIO control features.

10.1

NPAR Configuration

This section describes how to change NPAR configuration.
Configuration method depends on Boot mode (UEFI or Legacy) specified in BIOS settings.

10.1.1 In UEFI mode

1. Power on the server.
2. On the POST screen or after NEC logo is displayed, press <F2> key to run BIOS Setup Utility.
3. Select Advanced  UEFI Driver Configuration.
4. From the list, select a LAN riser card that is installed to the server.
Main Configuration Page will open.
Note
This feature is available when N8403-082F / N8403-083F 10GbE (2ch) riser card is
installed.
With N8403-081F installed, this feature is not available.
