Click Administrative Tool and then click Event Viewer from Control Panel.

In Windows Logs, select the type of log.
Application records events related to applications.
Security records events related to security.
System records events that occur in Windows system components.
3.
On the Action menu, click Save All Event As.
4.
Type the file name of the log In File name.
5.
Select the type of the log file you want to save In Save as type, and then click Save.
