Chapter 1 Maintenance
Did you create a logical drive?

 For the RAID system, create a logical drive using EXPRESSBUILDER or RAID Configuration
Utility (LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility) to install OS.
[?] Unable to install Windows
Have you checked precautions for installation?

 See "Installation Guide (Windows)".
[?] A product key was not requested
 If you install using Backup DVD-ROM, entering the product key is not required.
[?] The following devices are displayed under Problem Devices in Windows Server 2012 R2 or
Windows Server 2012 running in Server Core installation
● SM Bus Controller
● Base System Device
● System Interrupt Controller
● Performance Counter
● PCI Device
 There is no problem even if the above devices are displayed in this server.
[?] Unable to access the partition which was previously created after reinstalling OS while several
drives are connected

[?] When Windows Server 2008 R2 is installed while several drives are connected, the system partition
and the boot partition (leading area of 100 MB) are sometimes created in another disk

[?] When Starter Pack is installed on Windows Server 2008 R2, the message below is sometimes
displayed for a moment upon shutdown

[?] Windows was installed as Workgroup although you have specified the setting of joining the
domain at the installation
Is a LAN cable connected?

 If a LAN cable is not connected, Windows is installed as Workgroup. Change the setting on
Windows property.
