Strip 0.47 in (12 mm) insulating layer with a wire stripper. The power cord length should be kept below
330 ft (100 m).
NOTE: If an adaptor is used and connected to a surge arrestor, ground the adaptor.
• DC Power
The length of the AC power cord from the adaptor must be kept below 98.4 ft (30 m)

(Figure 3-15).

The steps for connecting the power cable are as follows:
1. Assemble the power plug. The power plug is installed on the end of the input direction. Refer to
the labels on the power plug for connecting the live wire, neutral wire, and ground wire to the
corresponding terminals separately, and tighten the screws.
2. Connect the output of the AC adaptor to the lightning protection box.
3. Assemble the power terminal. The power terminal is installed on the end of the output direction.
Refer to Figure 3-16 to connect the live wire and neutral wire.

4. Connect the power cable to the power (PWR) interface in the wiring cavity.
5. The power cable lays along the slot and stretches out of the wiring cavity from the power (PWR)
hole.
