Manual transmission: Not compatible with vehicles equipped with a manual transmission.

Factory hood pin: In vehicles not equipped with a Factory Hood Pin, must permanently ground the vehicles N.C. OEM Hood Pin

input for successful operation. See Directechs for hood pin location.
Pit Stop: The vehicle pit stop/idle mode feature is not available in this firmware.

T-Harness THFOD2 notes:
Š
•All T-Harness wires not listed in the diagram are not required for the installation.
•The OBDII Diagnostic Connector features will remain the same even when the T-Harness is installed.
•The optional Plug & Play T-Harness is sold separately
All connectors are displayed from the wire side (unless specified otherwise).

Conditions and Limitations
IMPORTANT: In the event of a module power cycle or vehicle battery disconnection or replacement, the ignition must be cycled to

activate the Lock/Unlock functions for proper functionality with aftermarket remote controls.
NOTE: This firmware has the same restrictions as an OEM remote starter. There may be a limit of only 1 or 2 remote starts before
Š
needing to key-start the vehicle to allow additional remote starts.
Š This installation enables the OEM remote starter and the remote start system will not work in the following conditions:
Š The ignition is on.
Š The alarm system is triggered.
Š The doors/hood are open.
Š The transmission is not in Park (P).
Š The vehicle battery voltage is too low.
Š The service engine light is on.
Note: Any stored DTC code errors will prevent vehicle from remote starting (no visual lights on dash).
RS Features: The following remote starter features can be configured via the information display:

Š Climate control
Š Heated seats/steering wheel
Š Runtime (for best results, program the remote starter runtime to match the OEM setting)
Š Remote Starter enable/disable

[1] Hood pin: The installation of an aftermarket hood pin is only required on vehicles that are not equipped with a factory hood pin or if
not supported in data.
[2] Optional parking lights: They will flash when locked/unlocked, and stay ON during remote start runtime. They are only required for
visual confirmation in the event of a remote start failure.
