Check Character Verification

Check characters are optional for Code 93 and can be added as the last two characters, which are calculated values used
to verify the integrity of the data.
Disable: The scanner transmits Code 93 barcodes as is.
Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification: The scanner checks the integrity of all Code 93 barcodes to
verify that the data complies with the check character algorithm. Barcodes passing the checks will be transmitted
except the last two digits, whereas those failing them will not be transmitted.
Transmit Check Character After Verification: The scanner checks the integrity of all Code 93 barcodes to verify
that the data complies with the check character algorithm. Barcodes passing the checks will be transmitted, whereas
those failing them will not be transmitted.
Disable
Transmit Check Character After Verification
If the Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification option is enabled, Code 93 barcodes with a
length that is less than the configured minimum length after having the two check characters excluded
will not be decoded. (For example, when the Do Not Transmit Check Character After Verification
option is enabled and the minimum length is set to 4, Code 93 barcodes with a total length of 4
characters including the two check characters cannot be read.)
