Inserting/Removing the Battery and Card

Insert a fully charged Battery Pack LP-E17 into the camera.
Make sure the card's write-protect switch (1) is set upward to enable

writing and erasing.

Slide the card slot/battery
compartment cover and open the
cover.

Insert the battery.
Insert the end with the electrical

contacts.
Insert the battery until it locks in place.

clicks in place.
