Periodic checks

We recommend carrying out the following checks:
LIST OF MONTHLY CHECKS
1 Inspect the flame detection device and check it is undamaged
and clean.
2 Check the ignition device and clean if necessary.
3 Check the right pressure levels for fuel and air.
4 Check the correct movement of the air damper.
5 Check the start up sequence and the safety interlocks, by sim-
ulating the relative anomaly situation.
6 Inspect the nozzle and combustion head, clean if necessary.
7 Clean the filters.

Opening the burner

Turn off the burner's power supply using the main
system switch.

Turn off the fuel interception tap.
DANGER
To open the burner, follow the instructions below (Fig. 28):
 disconnect the gas maximum pressure switch 1);
 disengage the connectors of the servomotor 2);
 extract the flame sensor 3)from its support;
 disconnect the gas, air and electrical connections from the
pilot burner 4);
 disconnect the gas train from the flange 5);
 unscrew the knobs 6) from the adjustment rods 7);
 loosen the fittings 8) so as to disengage the rods 7) and
allow them to slide;

Closing the burner

Refit following the steps described but in reverse order; refit all
burner components as they were originally assembled.

Maintenance
LIST OF YEARLY CHECKS
1 Check the fuel blocking valves are still well sealed.
2 Check the settings on the pressure switches.
3 Visual check of the wires and connectors.
4 Check and clean the pressure test points.
5 Check the installation pipes for leaks.
6 Visual check of any damage and/or deformation of compo-
nents exposed to the flame.
Wait for the components in contact with heat
sources to cool down completely.
Provide an adequate supporting system.
 remove the screws 9);
 retract the gas box 10) about 10 cm, making it slide on the
support tube 11) up to the stop;
 Rotate the ring nuts 12) of about 90°, to allow the passage of
the end part of the combustion head;
 retract completely the gas box 10), making it slide on the
support tube 11) up to the stop supporting the front part of
the combustion head 13).
After carrying out maintenance, cleaning or
checking operations, reassemble the cover and
all the safety and protection devices of the burner.
