G4/G5 QIP Upgrade and Encrypted Media Guide

Installing the G4/G5 QIP

1. Carefully unwrap the G4/G5 QIP from its anti-static bag.
2. Use the QIP's handle to place the QIP into its bay.
3. Push the QIP gently but firmly inward until it clicks into place.
4. Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to tighten the two captive screws on the side of the QIP.
Note: The screws are on the right side on a QIP installed in a Spectra T950 library, and
on the left side on a QIP installed in a Spectra T120 library.
5. Reattach any cabling that was connected to the QIP.
6. Proceed to Finish on page 11.
