Fibre Channel Command Description

Note:
The EXTENDED COPY command is not supported by SCSI.
The EXTENDED COPY command (Table A-1 on page 79) provides a means to copy data from
one set of logical units to another or to the same set of logical units. The device server
that receives and performs the EXTENDED COPY command is called the copy manager. The
copy manager is responsible for copying data from the logical unit(s) (source
device(s)) to the logical unit(s) (destination device(s)). These logical units may reside
on different SCSI devices or the same SCSI device (all devices and the copy manager
may be the same logical unit).
Note:
The T-Series library's F-QIP supports a maximum of four copy
managers.
