Appendix D Report LUNs—A0
Fibre Channel Command Description
Note:
The REPORT LUNS command is not supported by the SCSI QIP.
The REPORT LUNS command (see Table D-1) requests that the peripheral device logical
unit inventory accessible to the initiator via the addressed SCSI target port be sent to
the application client. The logical unit inventory is a list that will include the logical
unit numbers of all logical units having a Peripheral Qualifier value of 000b. Logical
unit numbers for logical units with Peripheral Qualifier values of 100b, 101b, 110b, or
111b are not supported.
A SCSI device will support a REPORT LUNS command that is addressed to logical unit zero.
Support of the REPORT LUNS command by logical units other than logical unit zero is not
supported. The REPORT LUNS command is supported on Spectra Logic's Fibre Channel and
iSCSI libraries.
