1. Thread the CAN cable through the port in the top 300-pin passive QIP. Thread the voltage-
sense cable around the right side so it comes out by the connector (Figure 22).

2. Attach the top passive QIP to the chassis with the screws included in your passive QIP
upgrade assembly kit (Figure 23).
3. Thread the CAN cable through the port in the bottom 300-pin passive QIP.
4. Attach the bottom passive QIP to the chassis with the screws included in your passive QIP
upgrade assembly kit.
Caution: Make sure you use the screws included with the Passive QIP Upgrade
Assembly Kit to attach the 300-pin passive QIPs to the chassis. The screws
from the 270-pin passive QIP will not work.
