Remove the Old Passive QIPs

Open the door and remove the assembly
1. Use the door key to unlock the front door of the Spectra 12000 (Figure 16). Open the door.

Unlock the door. Remove all drive sleds.
2. Pull all the drive sleds out of their slots (Figure 17).
3. Disconnect the voltage-sense cable on the top 270-pin passive QIP (Figure 18).

Disconnect the voltage-sense cable. Disconnect the CAN cable.
4. Disconnect the CAN cables on both 270-pin passive QIPs (Figure 19).
