5. In the below table, record the dip switch settings for each 270-pin passive QIP. If the switch

is pressed down, it is on. You will use these settings to set the dip switches on the new 300-

pin passive QIPs.

6. Use the #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws holding the passive QIPs to the

chassis (Figure 21). Throw away the screws.

7. Remove the passive QIPs.
