Cooling Fan Option

The following displays the structure for installing cooling fans.
Configuration
1xCPU
2xCPU
Containing CPU x 1
and 2.5 inch drive x 24
or 3.5 inch drive x 12.
Employing a powerful
fan
For single processor configurations except for 24x2.5-inch and 12x3.5-inch configurations, a particular cooling
fan bay requires four fans and two blank covers for redundancy. If the cooling fan fails or lacks, the redundancy
will fail.
Important To prevent damage to server components, make sure to install fan covers on
fan bays 1 and 2 for single processor configurations.
Important To prevent damage to the device, do not let the server operate for extended
lengths of time without the appropriate number of fans installed. The server
may start, but it is not recommended to let is operate without the necessary
fans installed and running.
