Conversion from Natural Gas to Propane
THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER
This conversion kit shall be installed by
a qualified service agency in accordance
with the manufacturer's instructions and
all applicable codes and requirements of
the authority having jurisdiction. If these
instructions are not followed exactly, a fire,
explosion, or carbon monoxide may result,
causing property damage, personal injury,
or loss of life. The qualified service agency
is responsible for the proper installation
of this kit. The installation is not proper
and complete until the operation of the
converted appliance is checked.

LP Conversion Instructions
1.
Turn the unit off and allow it to cool to room
temperature.
2.
Unplug or disconnect the stove power
source.
3.
Remove the safety screen and glass front
(see manual).
4.
Remove the logs and brick panels (if
installed).
5.
Remove the right rear log bracket (3 screws).
6.
Remove the burner tray (2 screws).

IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

Slide the burner tray to the left and out.

Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot
orifice.
9.
Unscrew the pilot orifice with the Allen key
and replace with the LP pilot orifice in the
kit and replace pilot cap.
10. Remove the burner orifice with a 1/2" wrench
and replace it with the #50 orifice in the kit.
Use another wrench to support behind the
elbow when removing/replacing the burner
orifice.

6. Remove tray fastener, slide out IFC tray and disconnect the pilot wires
and motor wire.

board (marked X6 on the IFC).

discard 2 Pressure regulator screws A
(T20 or slot), Pressure Regulator B, Spring
and Diaphragm C. Ensure the rubber
gasket, which is prefitted as part of the
new regulator, is properly positioned.
Install the new Pressure Regulator using
the 2x M4 x .7 screws supplied. Tighten
the screws to 25lb-in. In the event that
the screw threads are cross threaded
or stripped, replace the valve assembly.
Also reconnect new cable from pressure
regulator motor disconnected in step 12.
