    WARNING: THE GRAVITY BECOMES VERY HOT INSIDE THE BUILD CHAMBER AND ADJACENT PARTS. NEVER TOUCH THE INTERIOR SURFACES OF THE GRAVITY OR THE HEATING ELEMENTS. ALWAYS ALLOW THE GRAVITY TO COOL DOWN. In case of any Gravity breakdown contact 3D Systems for service and maintenance. 2.2 Personal Protective Equipment Face Mask Wear Protective Mask: A face mask should always be used when handling loose powder in order to minimize the amount of inhaled particles.

However, you should be aware of the following issues: • Any material, material-like substance, or airborne cloud of material has a remote chance of rapid combustion.
  • Page 8 Material Handling Precautions During normal operation of the Gravity using 3D Systems’ materials, you are not required to wear a dust mask or special personal protection equipment unless specifically designated. Check the SDS of the material used for the specific precautions you should observe.

    Disposal of Gravity Material and Waste Follow any applicable local regulations. Emissions Material heating - Analytical testing on 3D Systems materials indicates no detectable emissions outside acceptable limits from the Gravity system. 2.6 Electrical Safety Electrical Shock: Hazardous voltage exists inside the enclosures of all SLS equipment. Injury or death from electrical shock can result if you remove external panels or try to defeat safety interlocks.
