End of the inhalation session

The device is switched off automatically
when the medication dosage that is avail-
able for nebulising has been used up, or
after a maximum of 20 minutes.
The exact treatment time depends on the
type and quantity of the medication used.
This should not be longer than 4 minutes
for a 2.5 ml volume of a saline solution. If
this time is exceeded significantly, please
read Chapter 7, TROUBLESHOOTING
and Section "Life cycle" (Chapter
IMPORTANT INFORMATION).
When inhalation has been completed suc-
cessfully, the following indicator appears
on the display:
Caution:
Note that about 1 ml of medication cannot
be nebulised and remains unused in the
medication reservoir; this residue must be
discarded. This is intentional and does not
represent a malfunction.
The device switches itself off as soon as
the membrane of the aerosol head is no
longer coated with medication.
approx. 1 ml
Caution:
If the device switches off prematurely, and
significantly more than 1 ml of medication
is left in the medication reservoir, please
read Chapter 7, TROUBLESHOOTING.
50
Note:
If the device does not switch off auto-
matically, even though the medication
dosage that is available for nebulising
has been used up, switch the device
off manually (see also Chapter 7,
TROUBLESHOOTING).
• When the inhalation session has ended,
disconnect the power adapter plug from
the socket!
