Operation with batteries

Recommended: 1.5 V Mignon AA
LR6/Alkaline or equivalent
• Open the battery compartment by lifting
the clip:
• Insert the batteries as indicated by the
polarity symbols:
• Close the battery compartment by snap-
ping the battery compartment cover
onto the control unit.
When the device is running on batteries,
the LED on the control unit flashes red at
one-second intervals to indicate that pow-
er is low. The device switches itself off
automatically shortly afterwards.
Batteries vary considerably in terms of
storage life and output depending on bat-
tery quality. The life cycle of about 90 min-
utes can only be achieved with the recom-
mended batteries (4x). It is recommended
to carry a spare pack of batteries for trips

or leisure activities when connection to
mains power is unavailable.
Caution: Risk of accident if operated in
a motor vehicle (e.g. car, motor home,
boat)
For your own safety, do NOT use the inha-
lation device while driving.
Park the vehicle and switch the engine off
before starting the inhalation treatment.

Operation with rechargeable batteries

The control unit can also be operated with
standard rechargeable batteries.
Recommended:
1.2 V Mignon AA rechargeable, at least
2100 mAh or equivalent
Prepare the control unit as for operation
with batteries.
Batteries cannot be recharged in the con-
trol unit!
