How to set this device up
After commissioning and cleaning/disinfection, the device is ready for opera-
tion.
See chapter 12.5.

Before using the device, check for damage to filter panels and acrylic panels.

How to use it to treat your condition
No other persons are permitted inside the cabin while the device is in
use.
UV light can cause irreversible skin or eye damage. The unprotected eye
can become inflamed on the surface, and in certain cases the retina can
be damaged by excessive radiation. Cataracts can form after numerous
repeated tanning sessions. Use the UV-impermeable protective gog-
gles provided (order no. 84592-..). Contact lenses and sun glasses are
no substitutes for protective glasses.
Always comply with the recommended application times.

How to choose correct treatment

12.4.1
Skin types
Skin type I (Sensitive):
Invariably gets sunburn, accepts little natural sunlight and does not tan.
Skin type II (Fair):
Gets sunburn easily and severely, tans minimally or lightly and peels.
Skin type III (Average):
Often referred to as "Average" complexion, gets moderate sunburns and tans
about average.
Skin type IV (Brown):
Seldom gets sunburns, tans easily and above average with each exposure.
Skin type V (Dark Brown):
This individual's skin rarely gets sunburns, tans easily and substantially.
