Configure HotSpare
1. Connect a physical device to be used as hot spare disk, and then turn on the server.
2. Run LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
3. From the TOP menu, select Objects, and then Physical Drive.
The Objects - PHYSICAL DRIVE SELECTION MENU screen appears.
4. Move the cursor onto the physical device to be specified as hot spare disk, and then press the <Enter>
key.
5. Select Make HotSpare.
6. When you select Yes, the display for the selected physical device changes to HOTSP.

Exit LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
