Removing the lower triple clamp

Position the brake caliper. Mount and tighten screws

Install the front wheel. (
Preparatory work

Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (

Remove the front wheel.

Remove the fork legs. (
–
Remove the start number plate. (
–
Remove front fender. ( p. 53)

Remove the handlebar cushion.
Main work
–

Open cable holder on the left and detach the wiring harness.
–

Remove screw .
–

Remove screw .
–
Take off the upper triple clamp with the handlebar and set aside.
Info
Cover the components to protect them against damage.
Do not kink the cables and lines.

Remove O-ring .
–

Remove protective ring
–
Remove the lower triple clamp with the steering stem.
–
Remove the upper steering head bearing.
