This causes the SNC to reboot.

After the SNC has rebooted, use the fcShowNames command to verify your changes.
The output in the Node Name column of the of the fcShowNames command should no longer match the
output previously saved before using wwnGlobalClear.

After a SNC 6101 has been replaced, a diagnostic check should be performed to ensure that it now operates
properly.

Final Test Preparation

Connect a service terminal to the SNC 6101.
For information about how to do this, refer to
on page 21.

Power ON the Scalar 100 and wait until the SNC 6101 finishes booting.

Press the Enter key on the service terminal to display the prompt.

From the service terminal, enter the diagBoot command.

Wait until the SNC 6101 has finished booting into diagnostic mode.

From the service terminal, enter the showBox command.

Verify that the SNC 6101 accurately displays the channel information.
