Problem
6. The product is too soft.

8. The mix in the hopper is

12. Excessive mix leakage
from the bottom of door

Probable Cause
a. The viscosity control is set too
warm.
b. The scraper blades are worn.
a. The viscosity control is set too
cold.
b. Barrel not primed correctly.
c. Mix pump incorrectly assembled.
d. Mix pump incorrectly set.
e. Butterfat is in the pump.
a. Hopper cover is not in position.
b. The agitator is not installed.
c. The hopper temperature control is
set too warm.
d. Defective thermistor probe.
a. The hopper temperature control is
set too cold.
b. Defective Thermistor probe.
a. Milk stone or foam buildup in the
hopper.
a. The top O-ring on draw valve is
improperly lubricated or worn.
a. Bottom O-ring on the draw valve is
improperly lubricated or worn.
a. Beater shaft seal improperly 
lubricated or worn.

Remedy
a. Increase the consistency values.
b. Replace the scraper blades with new
ones.
a. Decrease the consistency values.
b. Drain the barrel and prime the
machine.
c. Follow assembly procedures
carefully.
d. Check and if necessary, change the
position of the regulator tube.
e. Disassemble, clean, and re-install the
pump.
a. Clean and sanitize the hopper cover
and place it in position.
b. Clean and sanitize the agitator and
install it.
c. Decrease the temperature value in
the menu.
d. Call a service technician.
a. Increase the temperature value in the
menu.
