PROBLEM

TROUBLESHOOTING

SOLUTION
• Check the connection to the transceiver
and power supply.
• Repair the problem, and then replace the
fuse.
• Set the squelch to the threshold point.
• Set the volume to a suitable level.
• Turn ON the internal speaker.
• Change channels.
• Push [HI/LO] to select high power.
• Set the desired channels as Favorite
channels.
• Turn ON the Key Beep function.
• Set the MMSI (DSC self ID) code.
• Enter a correct ID code.
• Enter the position.
