Fuse box in the transmission tunnel

We recommend that you have fuses
changed at a qualified specialist work-
shop, e.g. a Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre.
Long-wheelbase station wagon: you must
remove the stop clamps on the front-pas-
senger seat to reach the fuse box.
Removing the stop clamps
Risk of injury
Do not drive if the stop clamps are not in-
stalled correctly. If you sit too close to the
airbag, you could be seriously or fatally in-
jured. Please observe the information about
passenger safety ( page 46).
The stop clamps are located at the front on
the seat rails.

Remove stop clamps 1 using a screw-
driver.

Retain correct distance 2 when fitting
the stop clamps.
