Problem
The coolant display shows a temperature
above +120 °C.
You have had an accident. The vehicle is
losing fuel.
You have had an accident. You are unable
to determine the extent of the damage.

the major components
the fuel system
the engine mountings
Possible cause
The coolant is too hot and the engine is no
longer being sufficiently cooled.

Suggested solutions
Stop at the earliest opportunity and
allow the engine and coolant to cool
down.
Check the coolant level and top up
the coolant if necessary
( page 258).
Do not start the engine under any cir-
cumstances.
