Installation
Install the Cuvette Holder
Applies only to models with a cuvette port.
Insert the cuvette holder into the cuvette port on the front of the reader. Magnets
secure the holder in place.
Turn on the Reader and Run a System Test
Allow the reader to settle at room temperature before you turn it on.
On the front of the reader, at the base, locate the power switch.

Turn on the reader and allow it to run its power-up system test. Wait at least two

minutes. When the test is completed, the reader ejects the microplate carrier. If
the reader is equipped with a touchscreen (and not connected to a computer),
the Main Menu is displayed.
If the test fails: Touchscreen models: an error message indicating the problem
appears. If the problem is something you can fix, turn off the instrument, fix the
problem, and turn the instrument back on. If the test continues to fail, contact
Technical Support. Other models: contact Technical Support.
(Optional) Press the lighted blue button on the front of the reader to store the

microplate carrier in its chamber.
