5.2.6. Flywheel, ignition coil

a Disassembly / Reassembly
Starting motor type
Start the motor, and measure motor
operation performance,
operation performance is not within
the maintenance, disassemble.
Woodruff key
After assembling, check to be
sure that the woodruff key is still
in its slot on the crankshaft.
High-tension cord
Assembly: Check for
cracked or damaged
insulation, replace if
necessary.
Cooling fan
Caution: When servicing, take care not to damage the
fan blades.
Reassembly: Assemble the fan, aligning the four lugs
on the back of the fan with the small holes in the
flywheel.

Bolt: M6 x 30 (2)
Torque: 8 ~ 12 Nm
Charging coil
Ignition coil
Flywheel

Reassembly:
crankshaft taper face and flywheel
hole, then assemble.
Bolt: M6 x 30 (2)
Torque: 8 ~ 12 Nm
Starter pulley
Assemble, aligning the lugs on the
starting cup with the small holes in
the flywheel centre.

Remove the igniting coil before
removing flywheel
Don't hit the flywheel with a
hammer. Remove as shown on
the drawing with a special tool.
Flywheel puller
Degrease
M14 hexagon flange nut
80 ~ 90 Nm (Apply engine oil on
the thread.)
Disassembly/reassembly: Insert a
screwdriver or another tool into the
hole of starter pulley to prevent
flywheel from rotating.
