Cylinder Compression Check

1) Remove spark plug cap and spark plug.
2) Install a compression gauge in the spark plug hole.
3) Install a compression gauge in the spark plug hole, crank the
engine several times with the recoil starter and measure
cylinder compression

Spark Test

1) Remove the spark plug.
2) Install the spark plug into the spark plug cap.
3) Ground the spark plug's (-) electrode (threaded section), pull
starter to check if there is spark at the electrode joint.
Warning
Never touch spark plug's terminals by wet hand when testing.
If touching the high tension cord by wet hand, starting can
produce a high electric voltage, which is very dangerous.
Sprinkled fuel can cause fire around the spark plug. First,
clean the fuel, then check.
When checking, keep far away from the spark plug hole
