Installing the SpectrAA PRO Software
Installation of the SpectrAA Base version 5.2 or greater must be completed prior

to installing the SpectrAA PRO version 5.2 or greater software. Refer to Page 42
for details.
The selections entered during installation of the Base software (such as User
NOTE
Information, Directory Location) will be used for the PRO installation.
To install the SpectrAA PRO software:

Close down all Microsoft Windows applications.
Insert the SpectrAA PRO CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The
installation program should start automatically. If the program
does not auto start, do the following:
a
From the Windows Start menu, select All Programs >
Accessories > Run. The Run dialog displays.

In the Run dialog, type X:\SpectrAAPro.exe (where X
represents the letter of your CD-ROM drive) and select OK to
start the installation.

Click Yes on the User Account Control window to run the
program.
Select the language from the drop-down menu to use during the
installation of the SpectrAA software. Click OK.
Select Next to start the installation.
Review the License Agreement and then select I accept the
agreement and then click Next or 'Cancel' if you do not accept
the agreement. Clicking 'Cancel' will stop the software
installation.
Follow the prompts, selecting Yes, Next or OK on each page.
A dialog box appears asking for confirmation of the installation
destination for SpectrAA Pro.exe. Click Yes to install into the
previously created SP100\Run folder
Click Install to begin the installation.
