Accessing the User Tools (Copier Features)

This section is for the key operators in
change of this machine. The user tools
allow you to change or set the ma-
chine's default settings.
Preparation
Always exit the user tools when
you have finished.
Reference
For how to access the system set-
tings, see "Accessing The User
Tools (System Settings)" in the
System Settings manual.
For information the Fax user tools,
see the Facsimile Reference manu-
al.
A
Press the { { { { User Tools/Counter} } } } key.
B
Press the 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 key to display
"3.Copier Features", then press
the { { { { OK} } } } key.
C
Press the 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 key until de-
sired User Tools menu is dis-
played, then press the { { { { OK} } } } key.
D
Search for the desired setting
with the 0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 key.
Note
❒ 1 key : Press to go to the next
menu.
❒ 0 key : Press to go back to the
previous menu.

Change the settings by following
the instructions on the panel dis-
play. Then press the { { { { OK} } } } key.

Note
❒ {OK} key: Press to set the new
settings and return to the previ-
ous menu.
❒ {Cancel} key: Press to return to
the previous menu without
changing any data.
❒ The settings are not canceled
even if the power switch is
turned off or the {Clear Modes}
key is pressed.
