ASSEMBLY HYDRAULICS

All pipe connections are 2" external threads (conical pipe
threads).
To avoid structure-borne sound transmissions to the
heating system, the connection of the heat pump on
the heating circuit water side and on the heat source
side must be vibration-free.
We recommend the use of compensators (see photo
to the right).
When connecting the heating circuit water pipework,
the connection point on the heat pump must be secu-
red against torsion with a spanner in order to avoid
damage to the copper pipe on the condenser side.

Heat source input

Heat source supply point:

The heat source installation must be sized in accordance with the
prescriptions in the project planning manual.
Please note:
•
Before fi lling the heat source installation, it must be rinsed
thoroughly.
•
A mud fl ap (sieve size 1,0 mm) must be installed in front of
the heat pump input on the brine side (not delivered with the
unit)
•
The water/antifreeze-mixture (brine) must be mixed tho-
roughly before fi lling in the heat source installation.
•
The brine concentration must be at least 25%.
The heat source side should be vented by the controller before
the commissioning of the heat pump (see "system venting" under
"service>settings" in the instruction manual of the heat pump
controller).
Upon completion of the venting program, clean the mud fl ap
again before commissioning the heat pump.
Please ensure the minimum brine fl ow rate.
Motor circuit switches for the brine circulating pump are integra-
ted in the heat pump. Please fi nd the relevant settings in the
following schedule:

Install a bigger motor circuit switch in case you need
a brine circulating pump with a bigger capacity.
Consider the viscosity of the brine when dimensioning
the brine circulating pump.
