Removing the Steering Wheel
1.
Remove the cover from the steering wheel
(Figure
45).
1. Shaft (steering valve)
2. Steering wheel
3. Washer (5/8 inch)
2.
Remove the nut (5/8 inch) and washer (5/8 inch)
securing the steering wheel to the shaft of the
steering valve
3.
Remove the steering wheel from the
steering-valve shaft
Note:
Retain the nut, washer, steering wheel,
and cover.
Removing the Valve
1.
Remove the 2 capscrews and 2 locknuts that
secure the hose guide to the flange of the
storage compartment, and remove the guide
(Figure
46).
Note:
Discard the capscrews, locknuts, and
hose guide.
