Packet dump utility
You can use the packet dump utility to capture all of the data that is
transmitted and received on an interface of the MCG 3100. After the
session is complete, you can save the packet dump as a .cap file. For more
information, see
To open the .cap files for troubleshooting and analysis, you require the
protocol analyzer called Wireshark (formerly Ethereal).

/sbin/service mobilitygw stop
Stop the Administration Server process:
/sbin/service mobilityadmin stop
Change to the backup directory:
cd /opt/<backup_dir>
<backup_dir> is the backup directory for your backup. The backup
directory can be any directory on the server.
Copy the backup file from the removable media (or off-site location)
to the backup directory:
copy <backup_filename> /<backup_dir>
<backup_filename> is your backup file and <backup_dir> is the
backup directory on the MCG 3100 Server.
Restore the backup:
mysql <backup.sql>
mysqladmin flush-privileges
Start the Group Call Server process:
/sbin/service sipconf start
Start the Gateway Server process:
/sbin/service mobilitygw start
Start the Administration Server process:
/sbin/service mobilityadmin start
