Dial backup

The Dial Backup port or CON/AUX port can be used in reserve as a traditional
dial-up connection if the broadband connection to the WAN port fail. This feature
is not available on all models. To set up the auxiliary port (Dial Backup or CON/
AUX) for use in the event that the regular WAN connection is dropped, first make
sure you have set up the switch and port connection (see the Hardware Installation
chapter), then configure:
Refer also to the traffic redirect section for information on an alternate backup
WAN connection.
