Checking Stability Lock Function
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 12.
1. Verify motor locks are engaged.
2. Ensure all six wheels are on a flat, level surface.
3. Standing behind the wheelchair, lift the backcanes up and forward.
4. If both of the following occurs, the stability lock is functioning properly:
• The wheelchair rocks forward slightly and then locks.
• The rear casters remain in contact with the floor or rise less than 1/4-inch.
